We at St. James’ are one of eight congregations in the Diocese of Spokane to participate in the Organizing For Mission (OFM) hunger initiative during Lent. The goal of this year’s Lenten initiative is to raise awareness of local and global hunger issues while engaging congregations such as ours to help alleviate hunger locally and provide a one-time gift to the Episcopal Agricultural School in Honduras (El Hogar), a program that feeds and educates orphans.
